Acquisition
First of all, we want to get to know you better during the acquisition process and assess your opportunities on the German job market. That's why we start with your application to CareRecruit. You can submit it quickly and easily via our Karriereportal . We will check your details and uploaded documents immediately and give you feedback as soon as possible. You will then have an interview with one of our recruiters. Here you can ask questions and receive information about the further procedure of your application.
Matching
As soon as we've gotten to know and are convinced of your abilities to do the job, we will start looking for your future employer. We need some time for this and will keep you informed on a regular basis. As soon as we have found a suitable employer, we will arrange an interview so that you can get to know your potential future employer and also convince them of you. If the interview is successful, we will collect a second batch of documents from you and initiate the signing of an employment contract. As soon as your documents are complete and the contract is available, we will send it to you in German and English. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
Official and administrative process
Once your employment contract is signed, we will work with you to submit the necessary official applications for partial recognition of your training and subsequent entry into Germany. This process can take some time due to long deadlines. We will keep you regularly updated and contact you as soon as we have received partial recognition of your training. This partial recognition also includes a notice of deficits which lists exactly which deficits your training has compared to the German training as a nursing specialist. You must then make an appointment in your home country with the German embassy or consulate to apply for your visa. Of course, we will also support you with this step.
Life in Germany
As soon as your visa has been granted, we will book a flight for you to Germany. Here you will be optimally prepared for your new life in Germany during the CareRecruit Arrival Days. Whether it's registering with the Immigration Office, opening an account or (if previously discussed) your first visit to your chosen sports or leisure club, we will accompany you on your first steps. The full recognition of your training begins on your first day of work, for which you have just over a year from that day. Your new employer will accompany and support you closely. At the end of your first year, you will have to take a knowledge test. This is not a new final examination, but rather a check to see whether you have now closed the gaps identified in your training (from the notification of deficits from your partial recognition) compared to the German training. Once you have passed this knowledge test, you are fully recognized as a nursing professional and can live and work permanently in Germany with an employment contract.
